My husband and I bought a toyota pickup from Don. My husband LOVES this truck. Older vehicle with tons of miles, but runs like a champ. Love it. We had a mechanic check it out three weeks later, and other than a low battery and a crummy windshield wiper, it all looked good. Really, what do you want from a 19 year old truck with 175000 miles. Don was a pleasure to meet, and a pleasure to deal with. Very happy. Thanks again Don.
This place sold me a car that was in an accident and did not disclosed it and assured us that it was in perfect conditions. That's what I get for trusting a supposedly good Christian man and not inspecting first.Do not trust this place double check your decision.
Saw 5 trucks they had for sale on Craigslist and on their website, so I decided to make the 2 hour trip and take a look at them. I guess this is my fault for not calling ahead and checking, but they only had 2 of the 5 trucks that were listed that I was interested in. Anyway, when I got there, it was really hot and sunny and not one person came outside to offer us any help or talk about what we were looking at. WE had to go inside and find THEM. Both trucks looked much nicer online than they did in person. One truck had a cracked windshield, broken drivers seat, TPMS light was on, low coolant light was on, the back seat bounced against the truck and made one hell of a noise when driving over bumps and there were a TON of big scratches and a handful of small dents. I thought I'd still want the truck since all of that would be easy for me to fix if the price was right, but they barely moved on the price and didn't even seem interested in making a sale. The other truck was in much better shape but still had a couple things wrong with it. Neither trucks were annotated to have any issues, leading you to assume that they're in good shape and ready to go (especially considering the asking price). I wouldn't buy from here, their vehicles really weren't nearly as good as they seemed online and the employees weren't helpful. They seem more interested in keeping the price up because they "already paid more for the extras on the trucks." Not to mention, "Diesel Don" wasn't too knowledgeable on his Duramax trucks. Kinda hard to call yourself that if you don't even know what's sitting on your lot!
I highly recommend that you stay away from this dealer. So called "Diesel Don" will feed you nothing but lines of good christianity. But he is truly a scam artist. I Bought a truck from him. He told me he personally had the transmission rebuilt. Truck shifted fine the whole test drive I checked the fluid. It was such pretty red. The fluid could not get any fresher. Transmission went out a week later. He replaced one band in the transmission. And that was it. So yeah take it from me. I recommend you go to another dealer. I'm just trying to warn others so they do not make the same mistake I made. I would rather have paid the extra 10k and gotten a great truck from a reputable dealer.
Spoke to Don about buying a car about 2 weeks ago. Don was truthful in telling me he didn't have anything that he could sell me that he would feel comfortable doing so. I appreciated him being honest and not selling me something that wasn't good for me.
